LogAI Nura 2026

Empowering young women in Artificial Intelligence. Nura: Illuminating the future for women in AI.

Inaugural Edition24 to 29 August 202650 to 80 Young Women

1. Executive Summary

LogAI Nura 2026 is a six-day AI training and empowerment programme designed to equip young women with practical Artificial Intelligence skills, leadership capabilities, professional confidence, mentorship access, and connections to opportunities in the growing digital economy.

The inaugural edition will take place from 24 to 29 August 2026, bringing together 50 to 80 young women from diverse regions. Participants will leave with technical AI skills, stronger professional readiness, access to a mentorship network, and the foundation to become active contributors and leaders in the digital economy.

LogAI Nura is a flagship initiative of LogAI, an AI education company founded in 2023 that has trained over 2,000 professionals, students, and community members.

2. Problem Statement

Despite rapid technological growth, women remain critically underrepresented in Artificial Intelligence and the wider technology sector. Key indicators underscore the urgency:

  • Women remain underrepresented in technology workforces in many countries
  • Only 40 to 44 women are digitally skilled per 100 men in many regions
  • Women hold only 10 to 20% of tech leadership positions (McKinsey, 2023)
  • Only 1 to 2% of women-led startups receive venture funding (McKinsey, 2023)

This underrepresentation is not a matter of capability. It reflects structural barriers: limited access to technical training, absence of mentorship and professional networks, insufficient leadership development opportunities, and a technology ecosystem that has historically centred male participation.

Without intentional, inclusive investment in women's digital education today, the AI systems shaping our future risk being built without the voices, perspectives, and leadership of half the population.
